My name is Bex, I’m a designer of knitting patterns, spinner, dyer and textile arts teacher.
\nHere you’ll find my patterns and a blog about what I’m designing, knitting and spinning at the moment, inspiration and more, as well as occasional posts about life and all that goes with it.<\/p>\n
I live in England, knitting and the fibre arts is my life these days, I work as a knitwear designer and knitting and spinning tutor.\u00a0 When I’m not knitting my own designs, I enjoy knitting gifts for others, socks, clothes and accessories for my daughter and myself.\u00a0 Knitting led me to spinning and dyeing, to weaving and crocheting, I also find a little time for sewing and quilting.<\/p>\n
I live with chronic health conditions which limit my daily life, but I make the most of it. Knitting and other crafts have really helped me escape it and kept me sane and productive, even if its only 1 row at a time!<\/p>\n
As you may have noticed from my approach to knitting and pattern design I have an engineering and mathematical background, I just can’t shake it off!<\/p>\n
