{"id":412,"date":"2014-09-09T18:18:34","date_gmt":"2014-09-09T17:18:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/knit.colourfuldesigns.co.uk\/?p=412"},"modified":"2014-09-09T18:18:34","modified_gmt":"2014-09-09T17:18:34","slug":"knitting-for-babes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/knit.colourfuldesigns.co.uk\/?p=412","title":{"rendered":"Knitting for babes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I finished off the girlie baby gifts for my friend today.<br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/knit.colourfuldesigns.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/IMG_5193.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/knit.colourfuldesigns.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/IMG_5193.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5193.JPG\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nButtons for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/wee-envelope\">Wee Envelope<\/a>, a crocheted flower for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/aviatrix-hat\">Aviatrix Hat<\/a> and face, foot pads and ear bits for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/spring-bunnies-2\">Spring Bunnies Toy<\/a>.<br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/knit.colourfuldesigns.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/IMG_5191.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/knit.colourfuldesigns.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/IMG_5191.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5191.JPG\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nI added some fusible interfacing to the fabric for the bunny to stiffen it to make it easier to sew and also reduce fraying, only took a minute so well worth the effort. I also embroidered the eyes rather than using safety eyes as its for a baby and safety eyes are tricky to get really secure on crochet.<a href=\"http:\/\/knit.colourfuldesigns.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/IMG_5192.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/knit.colourfuldesigns.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/IMG_5192.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5192.JPG\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I finished off the girlie baby gifts for my friend today.
