The lace sections are a simplified version of the Dew Drops Shawl and with plain purl rows.
Worked in 2 colours or just 1 if you prefer.
The pattern is fulled tested and tech edited.
Yarn
Requires 2 colours 400m (440yards) each or 800m (880yards) in a single colour.
Choose fingering/4ply for a warm shawl or lace weight for a drapey shawl.
Gauge
This pattern uses almost all the yarn at the stated gauge so please check your gauge so you do not run out of yarn.
For fingering/4ply – 23sts and 36 rows /4” in garter stitch (after blocking).
For lace – 28sts and 48 rows /4” in garter stitch (after blocking).
Needles
For fingering/4ply – Size US 4 / 3.5 mm or size needed to obtain gauge circular needle (approx 32” / 80cm recommended)
For lace – Size US 2 ½ / 3.0 mm or size needed to obtain gauge circular needle (approx 32” / 80cm recommended)
